Mary joined the YFC clinical staff in
1997. She brought to YFC an extensive background in
mental health. She has an MC in Education, has completed
all but her dissertation towards a doctoral degree and, prior
to her arrival at YFC, she worked in a variety of social
service venues. Mary has worked in crisis intervention
and with developmentally disabled adults in rehabilitation
services. She is a Certified Group Psychotherapist with
years of group counseling experience. She has taught
undergraduate and graduate counseling and psychology courses
at several colleges and also maintains a small private
practice. At YFC, Mary is the point person for the
Women's Connection program that deals with life phases and
transitions. She specializes in working with groups,
family systems, couples and adoption issues along with her
work with individuals.
