Lynn brings to YFC her experience and education in
teaching. She has taught in the US and abroad in business and has worked
in Human Resource Management for large corporations. In addition to her MA
in Business from Webster University in the Netherlands, she obtained her MA in
Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. At YFC,
Lynn is the coordinator of two therapy groups for children, one dealing with
being a sibling of a special needs child, and the other dealing with at-risk
teen girls age 13-15. She joined the staff at YFC as an intern and has
remained at YFC since that time. Lynn counsels a wide range of clients
concerning adjustment and mood disorders, as well as sexual and gender
issues.
Carol Saldinger practices psychotherapy with individual adults,
adolescents, children and couples. She graduated in 1981 with
honors from Loyola University's School of Social Work. After
her internship at YFC, Carol was asked to join the staff and has been an
integral part of YFC for 25 years. She has been a Training Supervisor to
graduate school interns and is the Coordinator of YFC's Employee Assistance
Program. Her treatment includes work with clients who experience anxiety
depression, sexual abuse, issues of loss, post traumatic stress and life
transition issues, including gender identity questions. She maintains a
private practice and is the Employee Assistant Coordinator for an international
distribution company.
